Not compatible with XL. We do not recommend using the Flow Control Filter Cap on Original coffee makers made before 2014 due to a change in material that may affect the fit. - Filter flexibility: Use with the stainless steel reusable filter, a paper micro-filter, or both for varied flavor profiles. - Cleaning and maintenance: To clean the Flow Control Filter Cap, rinse with water. For a more thorough cleaning, use the top rack of your dishwasher. - Use scenarios: 1) Extend brew time at home for a richer, bolder cup. 2) Experiment with grind size and brew time to craft custom recipes. 3) Swap between steel and paper filters (or use both) to alter mouthfeel and strength.
