La Saponaria's D.I.Y soap is a neutral cleanser. It is used to incorporate the right active ingredients for each skin type into it. This product is suitable for normal, oily, dry skin and for cleansing the whole family; it is the perfect base for those who want to create their own personalized cleansers easily and quickly. It is recommended to use it pure or, if you wish, by adding your favorite actives to create: shampoo, shower gel, and liquid soap. The steps to create your personalized cleanser: Choose your recipe and the actives to use. Pour the base cleanser into a clean container or directly into an empty bottle. Weigh and mix water and water-soluble actives together. Weigh and mix oils and lipidic actives together with essential oils/perfumes. Combine the actives with the base cleanser directly in the bottle or container, mix thoroughly, and let rest for about 1 hour... and voilà, your personalized cleanser is ready. Remember to work with clean tools and containers. The product is rated safe for use as is but adding ingredients to the recipes is your responsibility; make sure you have carefully read the data sheets and usage limits of each ingredient you use. Before using the customized product, we recommend testing it on a small patch of skin on the forearm. If redness occurs, do not use the product. Store in a cool, dry place.
