Compact 3-Input Optical Audio Router

Dimensions: 12.5 × 8.5 × 2.8 cm; Weight: 180 g; Capacity: 3 Toslink inputs and 3 Toslink outputs; Finish: Matte black scratch-resistant ABS with laser-etched port labels (IN1/IN2/IN3, OUTA/OUTB/OUTC); Compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations; Tested with UK-sourced equipment including Hisense U7K, TCL C845, and Cambridge Audio Melody 2. This router enables precise optical signal management: as a selector, it routes one of three sources to a dedicated output (e.g., feeding Xbox audio to a hi-fi amp while keeping TV audio isolated); as a splitter, it duplicates one source across three outputs—for example, sending BBC Sounds radio feed simultaneously to a vintage CD player DAC, a modern soundbar and a USB optical capture device for podcast archiving. Its passive design guarantees zero added latency, no power consumption and no standby drain—fully compliant with UK Ecodesign Lot 6 requirements for energy-efficient audio accessories. Engineered for longevity, it includes strain relief grooves on all port edges and chamfered cable entry points—minimising fibre bend radius violations that cause signal loss in low-light conditions typical of UK living rooms. Ideal for audiophiles, content creators and multi-generational households seeking dependable, silent, future-ready audio infrastructure.
