EBayTo develop one of the world's best rafter squares, Johnson first had to engineer the EZ-Read finish, its revolutionary anti-glare protective coating that diffracts sunlight rather than reflecting it, so it looks as crisp in full sun as it does in the shade. The EZ-Read finish also increases friction to better secure your square against your lumber when using it as a saw guide. The Johnny Square is highly durable and accurate. Its solid aluminum body construction with CNC machined edges ensure an accurate reading every time. This rafter square also features continuous scribing notches that are ideal for ripping at 1-1/2", 3-1/2" and 5-1/2" as well as handy markers that measure 2x4 board dimensions of 1-1/2", 3" and 3-1/2". CONSTRUCTION SQUARE: This measuring tool has a solid aluminum body and CNC machined edges to provide a precise reading every time. It is a long-lasting and flexible tool for builders and contractors. EZ-READ FINISH: This metal square ruler features EZ Read laser etched graduations and numbers that are clearly visible. When used as a saw guide, the EZ finish increases friction to help attach the square to your lumber. SCRIBING NOTCHES: This square layout tool's continuous scribing notches are ideal for ripping at 1-1/2", 3-1/2", and 5-1/2", as well as markers that measure 2×4 board dimensions of 1-1/2", 3" and 3-1/2". These also help in creating a saw cut line for rip cuts. APPLICATIONS: This framing square’s edge that allows cross-cuts and angled cuts to be made directly with the saw against the square. It simplifies stair layout with the inbuilt distance and angle scales that allow you to mark your cut lines on your stringers. ADDITIONAL FEATURES: This 12" construction square allows you to mark 90° and 45° angles quickly and accurately.
