The serial to USB adapter is wired as a straight-through cable for connecting DB9 devices such as routers, GPS units, programming machines, barcode scanners, label printers, modems, digital cameras, card readers, palm PCs, and digital organizers. This 6ft serial USB RS232 converter data cable is shielded to protect your data from EMI/RFI noise and is long enough to be useful without being cumbersome.
