Overhang Trigger Switch 153609-00 DW708

This is a functional replacement trigger switch for Dewalt DW708 miter saws — compatible exclusively with Types 1, 3 and 4. Built using industrial-grade plastic housing and precision-stamped internal metal contacts, it replicates the original overhang actuation style and electrical interface. Physical size conforms to OEM benchmarks (±1–3 cm tolerance), and material selection prioritises thermal stability and impact resistance under workshop conditions. The switch performs three interdependent roles: initiating main power flow, translating analog trigger position into proportional motor speed, and enabling short-duration reverse polarity for electric braking. Degradation typically manifests as increased resistance at contact points, reduced spring tension and inconsistent lever travel — resulting in delayed response, partial activation or total failure. Not supplied with installation guidance; certified repair personnel should carry out replacement in accordance with EN 60745 safety standards.
