Each unit consists of a one-piece moulded rubber sleeve with reinforced ends, rated for continuous use in residential food waste disposal applications. Total assembled length is ~3.5 inches; internal bore accommodates standard 1.5-inch disposal outlet pipes. The included 304 stainless steel hardware ensures lasting integrity in humid, chemically active under-sink conditions. Its primary function is to decouple dynamic movement between the spinning disposal unit and static drain piping — reducing noise, wear, and failure risk. Installation uses a single hex-head bolt to control axial compression, enabling intuitive alignment and repeatable service access.
