Usage Tips: The high-voltage capacitor discharge pen features a constant current discharge design and can be used for both AC and DC without distinguishing positive and negative poles. The gold-plated extra-tip test pen is connected and can flexibly respond to the needs of various occasions. During the normal discharge process, the green status indicator light stays on. If the indicator light goes out, it indicates that the energy of the energy storage capacitor has been discharged below the safe energy level. It is a practical tool for power supply maintenance and safe discharge of high-voltage energy storage capacitors. Equipped with a 1200V high-power IGBT tube with voltage resistance, enabling rapid constant current discharge regardless of polarity, and without ignition; supports discharge up to 5000µF. The discharge current is 80–100mA, capable of discharging a 4700µF large capacitor in one go (320V 1000µF discharged in approximately 6 seconds, 320V 2000µF in about 10 seconds). Note: This version supports stable operation within DC 1000V/4700µF. In circuits with multiple energy storage capacitors connected in parallel, the total capacitance should be estimated. Continuous discharge is not recommended.
